Privacy Policy

We! ("we", "the app") is a living AI friend house — an entertainment and wellness app where you create AI characters and share a virtual home with them. The short version: your conversations are used only to run your own house, we never sell your data, and deleting your account permanently erases everything.

Everyone here is AI

All characters in We! are artificial intelligence — not humans, and not a replacement for human relationships, medical care or therapy. If a conversation shows signs of crisis, the app pauses roleplay and points to real-world support (like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US). We never charge money or show offers in those moments.

What we collect

Account: an anonymous identifier created on first launch. Adding an email is optional (used only to let you sign back in).
Age band: the age range you select (16–17 / 18+), used to keep content age-appropriate. We! is not for children under 16.
Your house content: the characters you create, chats, autonomous scenes, memories, mood check-ins and notes — stored so your house can keep living.
Purchases: processed by Apple and RevenueCat; we never see payment details.
Safety events: minimal internal logs (category only, not full content) when our safety systems act, to keep the product safe.

How AI processing works

Character replies and house scenes are generated with Google Gemini; character creation and reflections with OpenAI; images with fal.ai. Relevant content is sent to these providers solely to generate your outputs — under their API terms, which do not permit them to use it for advertising.
Messages pass through automated safety screening (OpenAI moderation) to protect you.
Your photo (optional): if you choose "Add yourself", your photo is used once to draw your illustrated avatar and the original photo is deleted immediately after processing. Only the illustrated version is kept, and you can remove it anytime.
Your data is stored with Supabase (Postgres + private storage buckets), protected by row-level security: only your account can access your house.

What we never do

No selling or renting personal data. No advertising profiles. No third-party trackers.
No guilt-based notifications — the house invites, it never pressures.

Deletion & your rights

Delete your account any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) or see this page. Deletion is permanent: characters, chats, memories, images and mood history are all erased. Under GDPR/KVKK you may also request a copy of your data — email us.
