Preserve recognizable anchors

Face shape, eye spacing, expression, age cues and distinctive features carry identity. A transformation can change material, proportions and styling while retaining enough anchors for the player to recognize themselves.

The goal is interpretation, not exact biometric reconstruction. Players should be able to regenerate or decline the result.

Race identity changes anatomy

An orc result should read as an orc in silhouette, facial structure, skin, tusks and cultural styling—not a human portrait wearing fantasy makeup. Elves, dwarves and original species need their own consistent visual grammar.

Selectable races also carry gameplay traits, so the portrait should reinforce the same choice the rules and story acknowledge.

Preview before paid processing

Onboarding can demonstrate how likeness works with a staged example before the paywall. The real photo capture and generative processing can then occur after membership begins, avoiding unnecessary cost and data use.

This sequence lets the player understand the value without implying that their photo has already been uploaded.

Deletion should be the default conversation

The product should explain what happens to the source photo, generated asset and references used for later imagery. Separate controls for removing the likeness and deleting the account keep consent understandable.
